Savagely Simple Products
All of my products are artfully hand-crafted with care by myself in my own home.
My soaps are handmade almost how grandma (great grandma? great, great grandma? Depends on your generation, I guess..) used to make them. With oils, butters, and lye. my products are not made with any animal fats though! Only selected vegetable-based oils. The main difference? Instead of standing outside for hours churning a pot of lye and oils 'til it starts to saponify... I use a blender stick to cut down the time drastically..

Most other companies' soaps are made with a range of chemicals that are made for cleaning and can dry out the skin. To make up for the use of chemicals instead of real ingredients, they use more chemicals that cause bubbles. do extra bubbles really mean extra clean?

My candles are also hand-crafted by me (of course) with soy wax and fragrance oils. I melt, scent, color, and hand-pour all my candles. Most candle companies make their candles with extra chemicals to cut down the cure time and the amount of fragrance oil to save money. Most candles like that are not considered a "clean natural" burn as you are burning more chemicals in your house that many people claim causes migraines and other issues. My candles are made with soy wax, fragrance oils, and no added chemicals.

My products are colored with mica powders. Mica is a mineral stone, and when it is ground down into powder, it becomes the mica powders that most soaps and candles are made with today. These powders are very common and are even found in common foods that we eat every day.
